The USA team breaking the world record by four fucking seconds in the 4X200 swimming relay race, as well as Michael Phelps breaking the 200M world record by a second was the most insane thing I've watched in a while. World records aren't utterly destroyed like this often! I bet Michael Phelps feels good to be Michael Phelps today.

He reminded me of Yujiro in that bit of Son of Ogre where he's pretty much swimming upstream in simulated rapids.

It first takes an insane feat for someone to become noteworthy, Jason. Not everyone is going to be interested in anyone's career until he does something impossible! So people suddenly talking about him is the most rational and expected thing.

Plus, not everyone breaks world records like that! Greatness is one of those things that can be achieved in many ways. The roads leading to it are all different but the destination does not change.

Haha! Common sense pretty much led me to believe there had to be at least one fraction of Canada that is okay with the use of French, so I had to make a preemptive save there just in case. Though now that I think about it, Spamdini once told me speaking French over there is an old man thing, and that his grandfather or some relative of similar hierarchy taught him the language. Fuck tradition!

Then again, if it hadn't been for Spamdini knowing French, I would have never read the FOTNS scanlations. ...Sorry. Ken Le Survivant.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who sees how fucking sickening it is that these sixteen year olds (and fucking illegally younger on the Chinese team) are so whored out in women's gymnastics.

The retarded bitch commentators even talked about how one of the China girls wrote a letter to her parents begging to quit gymnastics and come home (since they recruit the girls when they're goddamn three years old and pliable enough to be curved into a U shape) and they denied her. The commentators then went on to say that's it's a good thing, since she wouldn't be here otherwise!!!!!!!!!!!!!
