Spider-Man 3 had a sort of periodical effect in me. When I came out of the theatres, I thought it wasn't really that bad (save for the terrible bit with Spidey and the STARS N' STRIPES in the background, everything involving Venom, among others).

As time went on and I progressively reviewed every bit in my head, and after talking to friends, I came to realize it was actually pretty terrible overall.

Don't watch Spider Man 3, TL! It's really fucking shitty!

Now, the next Punisher movie looks promising, in the sense that it doesn't promise you anything besides insane guns and fucking violence.

Spider-Man 3 would have been perfect if Venom were never used. Sam Raimi hates Venom and used him only because the studio forced him to.

In fact, the third sequel doesn't seem to have been very good for any superhero movie franchise. Superman III was pretty terrible too, if I recall! Just like Superman Returns, if you consider it another sequel to II.
