Why are people, and this includes actual professional writers, so bad at writing dialogue?
People exist for fucking decades, engaging in natural and effortless conversation day in and day out, but when it comes to artificially contriving it, the absolute best they can do ends up being an abominable mockery of humanity that doesn't remotely approach realistic-sounding speech.
This "talent" is so rare that people who can pull it off successfully are highly-lauded for their ability to do so! |

Realistic dialog is trash and no one is interested in that dreck. So people are interested in several different varieties of artificial dialog.
If you think the dialog you like in movies/tv/etc is realistic, then you are absurdly ignorant. |

There's no fucking way Obama will win FL and NV. There's like to democrats to speak of anywhere here. Even the younger adults are voting for McCain. Honestly, I never even met a democrat in Florida, period.

TV writing is designed for you not to flip the channel. That's all.
The Reagen Camp David transcript is a fake. I said that an only a Camp David insider would know how to write it. The fact is, Eisenhower was our only president that knew about the government/alien connection because of his notes. The rest of the presidents were simply told "they are real", such as Bill Clinton, who spent more time than the public knew trying unsuccessfully to uncover the alien government agenda. The alien agenda cover up is an esoteric one, not the government's.
Serpo.org really should take it down already. |
