I really like the idea of superhero movies that are not based on comics.

The only one that I could think of was Darkman though. Then of course I remembered Unbreakable, and now Hancock is coming out.
Other than those three though, I can't think of any.

Although Meteor Man was featured in AFI's 100 Years, 100 Laughs, but that speaks more of the uselessness of that institute than the strength of the film.

Oh yeah, I think I had briefly thought of Sky High.

I saw a couple minutes of the French-Canadian dub, and the voices were really good. It sounded just like Kurt Russel and Bruce Campbell.

Fuk, that's an obvious one too.

I just remembered that there is this comedy about superheroes that has Thomas Haden Church in it.
And maybe Superhero Movie counts.
