I still maintain that with the simple organization of the extensive interview and storylines that lead up to every pay-per-view into four installments of one or two weekly shows would increase the realism of FTUW, and make it really, really cool.

But I guess if some asshole can make 10 grand off of a pair of titties, then the whole thing sounds like way too much work.

I think part of the problem is that you're taking this thing which people at FTU do for fun and making it seem like they aren't doing enough and that they're suckers for not trying to make money off of this thing which, as mentioned before, relies heavily on copyrighted material.

I know you didn't call anyone a sucker, but you have to understand that what you DID say amounts to "You're all suckers, suck this!"

I never suspected it would make any money! I just think it'd be more fun to go all the way, to think about what FTUW's version of "Monday Night Raw" and possibly "Smackdown" would be, and how the different plot-advancing interviews would be divided up among the four to eight episodes between each Pay-Per-View.

FTUW would be A LOT COOLER if, instead of reading one thread that goes through the rivalry of two characters in a literal fashion, there was one thread (or webpage) for each show that contained SEGMENTS THAT END ON CLIFF-HANGERS that are not resolved until the next show.

But I see how much more work this would require, and I'm not willing to do it, so whatever. I haven't even read FTUW in a very long time. It's way too time-consuming.

But I question if stuff like Chaucer and Byron and Stephen Crane that I have to read to become a certified LITERATURE BUFF really have more literary merit than Vinny's elaborate fantasy world. They SURE AS HELL WOULDN'T if my ideas were implemented.

But I'm not so concerned about popularity or how I'm perceived as to withhold my opinion because I know it will cause groans/headaches among THE ESTABLISHMENT.
