Yeah, I remember him saying that one of the KEY POINTS in the game is that you could be hiding behind a building and then, suddenly, the building would be destroyed. Nothing I've seen of the game indicates that this happens.

If the game does in fact involve buildings exploding that somewhat takes away from the subtle espionage aspect.

Complete building deformation is a pretty incredible feature so it's not much of a surprise it's not in the game.
