*Ralph Nader walks in*

| Nader only got .38 percent of the vote when John Kerry was the Democratic nominee. And nobody ever liked John Kerry. |

If he diverted even a few thousand votes from Gore/Kerry then it was plenty to fuck the whole thing to hell.
Assuming the elections weren't completely fraudulent/stolen for Bush to begin with, which is 90% certain anyway. |

I'm just so tired of this stupid piece of shit slithering along every 4 years and doing the absolute best possible thing that could be done to ensure Republican victory short of personally assassinating the Democratic candidate on the eve of the election.

Al Gore still had 500,000 more popular votes than Bush.
Nader/Paul in '08. |

The problem with having a major third party is that it would create pluralities, where no one candidate gets a majority. Then the vote goes to the House of Representatives.
BORING HISTORY SPOILER AHEAD:
This has caused all sorts of problems in US history, such as 1824 when while Andrew Jackson won the most votes, it wasn't a majority. This was because there was only one political party at the time. Henry Clay (the current Speaker of the House), another candidate, threw his support behind John Quincy Adams and Adams defeated Jackson to become president. Clay and Adams were accused of corruption charges, and an incredibly divisive government where nothing at all was done and everyone fought all the time. Jackson defeated Adams in the 1828 elections very easily.
By having a plurality, things in the US would be more akin to gay European political processes. |

Maybe the Democrats shouldn't elect a candidate and everyone should instead vote for Ralph Nader?
I don't think there is a way in which he is not superior to Obama or Clinton. |

| It's pretty funny that Chris is whining about Nader when it's pretty clear that he didn't vote in either election. |

I don't get why Nader doesn't run for Congress or governor of California or something, so at least people won't be able to say "This man who has never held political office is running for President of the United States."
