I've met Carter before, he seems like a nice guy with a good heart, and his post-presidential work around Palestine, Korea, Cuba, and Northern Ireland has been very good... but as a president he was fucking incompetent and terrible.

It was an alright film; it was interesting to see Jonathan Demme doing something interesting since Silence of the Lambs. Carter's exposure of Israel's apartheid system is good too, although I disagree with Carter in his belief that Israel should still have the right to exist.

ALSO THIS THREAD JUST TURNED INFINITELY GAYER.
