The Tennessee Fire and It Still Moves are both extremely fucking awesome.

If you want a relaxing sound choose the former and if you want a more energetic rock sound pick the latter.

The most polarizing thing about this band is probably the singer, so you may want to sample a few before you dive in to see if you like it because he doesn't change his style.

Their two live albums are pretty good, but I don't think they deviate too much from the studio recordings. So if you are expecting any new jams, that probably won't happen, but otherwise they were very good.

However, apparently they performed with a children's orchestra or something at the last festival they did which probably didn't work out very well. So, uh, hopefully that doesn't happen again.

MMJ sucked a dick when I saw them at Lollapalooza, but I think they're pretty lame in general.

It would be nice to go to Bonnaroo one day to see what it's all about and stuff, but I think for now I'm just sticking to SXSW. I probably won't even go to Lollapalooza again, unless there's something really spectacular going on, but I can't fathom what that would have to be.

No, the closest they have is Robert Plant and Lez Leppelin (separate acts).

Although with both of them in one place, it WOULD make sense for him to make a cameo! John Paul Jones played with like 30 different acts last year.
