Food plans! |

This is where you talk about your cost-effective meals that you have on a regular basis. For whatever reason, my university decided to not give out any food money this month, so I guess I'm buying all of my own shit.
Right now, the core things of my plan seem to be sandwiches, Tyson's chicken strips and Gatorade. If you have some good ideas, tell me! |

Yeah, when you combine how good it is, how cheap it is, and how easy it is to make, spaghetti is basically the king of food.
When I had to buy my own food in college I ate a lot of those crappy Banquet brand TV dinners that go on sale for 5/$5. And Totino's party pizzas. And bologna sandwiches (actual meat is expensive).
After school when I got my own apartment I think I went to the grocery store 5 times in two years. Preparing food is not for me. |

Peanut butter on toast is my new favorite snack, because some brands of bread will last forever, and the peanut butter makes it satiating enough and also stays good for a long time. Yogurts are also good.
Luckily I love pasta and rice, so it's pretty much all I eat at home. That and lentils.
Eggs are also awesomely cheap.
Packages of dried soup are convenient and cost-effective, only require water, and you can spread it out over 2-3 meals if you don't gorge yourself. I guess the canned soup is a given, but I don't usually like things from cans. |

No. Usually in some kind of soup, or with rice. |

I used to boil consume and rice, but I guess consume is too expensive. Maybe if you use boiiullouj'ksfoosfsdoon cubes
I hate it when fat people lecture me about the real world, because the real world burns enough calories where you shouldnt be fat
I always eat well, because its cheaper than being sick or demoralized |

I share that exact same belief, Outland!
Food is one of the only things I'll probably spend a decent amount of money on because it is ridiculously important to eat good and delicious food. |

Peanut-butter and jelly is the cheapest most healthful option. Every two weeks buy a dozen or apples or oranges because they'll help with your immune system. Every weak you can buy a bunch of bananas because they are cheap and good for the thought process (potassium!).
I buy boxes of veggie burgers, but they can add up if you eat a lot of them. Chicken strips may be cheaper. Both tend to provide the same amount of protein.
Canned soups are inexpensive. As is canned tuna fish (or chicken or turkey if you don't like fish). |

Well, there are less expensive things like soda or Sunny D, but I can't make either of those two things a staple of a diet. |

What about juice? Isn't canned juice cheaper?
Also, water.
And tea is very cheap. My teabags are only a bit more than a penny. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |
