What would have been awesome with the Hitler show is if everyone in the world said, "Oh, haha, you think you're so clever eh, with your 'Hitler lives next door to Jews!!!!' (lol) show?" and then everyone watched the show and kept watching, not because they liked it, but out of spite, just to keep the ratings high so that it would stay on the air for fucking years and torture the writers into having to come up with neverending variations on basically one joke.

Seinfeld was, even if they were flexible about it. Simpsons was too, it just added new characters and kept refining itself
