It's a fact: religious exiles are better at forming communities than slaves and criminals.
WE must therefore conclude that religion and exile are better for society than slavery and crime! |

Actually, the north has quite a few slaves and indentured servants as well, albeit much less of them
so I guess I defeated my own argument. THe north prospered clearly because they happened across a much higher class of slaves, servants and criminals. Also, the better disease climate killed less of them off. The religious exiles were a non-factor, I guess |
