I'm watching this and it's absolutely infuriating.

America is THE WORST first-world country in the fucking world, by far.

I fucking can't stand this piece of shit. The government, the culture, the accent, the values, the social customs, the POLICIES, you fucking name it. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.

I've always kind of wanted to move to England, and this movie makes me want to do it. Maybe Iceland.

I'd even take fucking Canada at this point.

Somewhere with polite, intelligent, non-smarmy people with neat accents.

The problem is with other first world nations, their only better if youre born in them. As far as the third world goes you can live a decent life off of english teaching, but all that culture shock and isolation isnt easy.

Still, if I were a remotely rational human being I would have just stayed in China for the rest of my life. Decent pay, cheap prices, and so many women that statistically hundreds of millions of people want to fuck you; maybe even attractive ones

With me, it's honestly a matter of familiarity breeding contempt.

Number one, I hate people who remind me of myself in speech and manner, and obviously, leaving America will pretty much solve that problem because they'll be alien cultures.

Number two, there are all these "types" of people in America, and I'm basically sick of them all. Everyone I encounter is a stereotype to me now. "Oh, it's a scene girl. Oh, it's the 'gruff old guy in his 50's' type. Oh, it's a Mexican family. Oh, it's some douchey, smarmy-ass business person (businesspeople are the worst)."

I want a new culture, with a brand new set of TYPES, in which I am an alien, and where I will have the bonus of being interesting merely by virtue of being foreign.

The end of the movie was heartbreakingly stupid. I know with Michael Moore there are always gonna be a couple of things that make you roll your eyes, but by the time the sick Americans were tearfully hugging the Cuban firemen, my eyes had worked their way out of their sockets and were twirling around spraying blood all over adjacent moviegoers.
