But that's where the difference comes in. WE won't show what in France is a major UFO sighting so we assume it's the same everywhere.

Not coincidentally, countries with close US ties (and a few major US military bases), UFOs tend to be extremely taboo and rarely shown on TV.

The fact is when the "men in black" show up, nobody knows who or what the fuck they are. Usually they'll say they're from the US military. Just like unmarked helicopters. People simply assume they're from the US military.

Some speculated that the men in black are actually aliens! Which have much more to do with the public disclosure problem than any human organization.

You gotta understand, if the government openly admits that they've been capturing actual aliens and watching them abduct people for the last 50 years, the world would probably split in two.
