Aden: Is it possible to infer whether the infant in the painting is Barrett, or has horns?
Dpayne: It's impossible to infer either it just looks like an infant.
Aden: So, it DOESN'T have horns?
Dpayne: No there are no horns apparent.
Aden: While all of this is happening, I'm still just standing around anxiously, hoping to simply find a lead to the horned man and get out.
Aden: Mentally counting the seconds and wondering how long Carmella can remain safe.
Dpayne: You somehow find it strange that someone of the rank of Archbishop as powerful as Vykos was would need such a book.
Aden: I try to read Ping's face to see if she's wondering the same thing.
 Aden: Sorry, the chink's face.
Dpayne: As far as you can tell you're the only one who has noticed it.
Aden: I still don't know her name.
Aden: Do I find anything meaningful?
 Dpayne: roll wits+intelligence difficulty 7.
Aden: Also, I want to check the publisher page to see how something like this actually gets made.
 Aden: /me rolls 6 10-sided dice: 7 3 5 3 9 5
Dpayne: You wonder if there might be something significant about the chapter listings.
Aden: I see the same ones you already mentioned?
Dpayne: When you turn to the publisher page it all appears fuzzy and mentally you feel compelled to ignore it and go back to what you were focusing on.
 Dpayne: Yes
Dpayne: You do manage to notice that the publishing location is the same as the address of this house, but everything else is like ether on your brain.
Aden: Can I read the last chapter?
Dpayne: Roll Intelligence + perception difficulty 6.
 Aden: /me rolls 7 10-sided dice: 7 10 10 8 6 2 10
Dpayne: You come to the chapter and find that it is largely a collection of dirty jokes involving fathers and sons.
Dpayne: However your skimming turns up something that seems out of place.
Dpayne: "Everyone should meet their dad at the fountain of blood."
 Dpayne: Over.
Aden: OOC: Is there a significance to which words you capitalized on the chapter page or was that just arbitrary?
Dpayne: No the capitalization wasn't intentionally significant, just the words.
Aden: Can I inspect that chapter titles again and use a Willpower point this time?
 Aden: the
Aden: Let's see... there were fountains of blood at the original meeting place, right?
Aden: Were there any in the park?
Dpayne: Yes there were in the original place.
Aden: That's probably good enough for Aden.
Aden: Then I write to him: TAKING THE KID SOMEWHERE HE NEEDS TO GO.
Aden: (You can pass this on to Vinny.)
Aden: Finally: UNLESS YOU CAN TELL ME WHERE HORNED MAN IS, WE'RE LEAVING.
 Aden: Over.
Dpayne: You realize that Sinclair is probably with the horned man, and again the passage from the book rings in your head.
 Aden: Wait.
Aden: Dolores Sinclair is the Camarilla woman?
 Aden: Right?
 Dpayne: Yes
Dpayne: You also think that if there is any truth to what Devereaux is saying, that perhaps it isn't being relayed in its entirety.
Aden: I can't get caught up in all of this. I only have one clear destination and dragging information out of Devereaux is going to waste time that I don't have.
Aden: GAVE YOU THE KID. GIVE ME CARMELLA AND LET US GO.
Aden: The letters are obviously slurred due to my predicament.
 Aden: Over.
 Aden: God, this fucking cunt.
Aden: WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?
 Aden: Over.
Aden: NEVER SEE US AGAIN. LET US GO.
 Aden: PLEASE.
 Aden: Over.
