What was the deal with all of those nintendo games with score counters and keeping track of your high score? I understand that it makes sense for an arcade game, because they retain the data, but for the NES it was always wiped as soon as you turned it off.

Twilight Princess was good, just not as good as it could have been. It didn't feel quite as epic as, say, Shadow of the Colossus. It also felt too much "been there done that" which makes me sad because perhaps the Zelda franchise has gone as far as it can go.

Score counting is pretty much ridiculous on any home game system.

High scores are about measuring your dick against strangers.

Like me and Ms. Pac Man.

I walk up to any Ms. Pac Man machine and my dick will fucking destroy it.

I haven't failed to place the new high score on a Ms. Pac Man machine in over a year.

Twilight Princess is perfectly fine if you've never played a Zelda game.

Nintendo almost always makes a game with that in mind.

Besides, it had plenty of FRESH, interesting ideas.

The wolf and twilight realm shit was basically horrendous but the SPINNER, all of the Arbiter Grounds, the dungeon that's actually a mansion, the fucking BALL AND CHAIN, bug hunting, the Temple of Time puzzles with that giant statue, ninja hookshots, four god damned Ganon battles.

Great game!

Twilight Princess was so exciting when I was playing it, but now that I've beat it I don't really feel the urge to play it again anytime soon.

The double hookshots and SNIPER SCOPE for the bow were great, though.

I love my Zelda cycle!

It's far more satisfying than my Metroid cycle (Which I just went through. Metroid 2 is a real downer.) and not nearly as time consuming as my Final Fantasy cycle.

Luckily those only come along every two years or so.
