Curse of Darkness was infinitely better than Lament of Innocence because they added hills.

That being said, Lament of Innocence should also be eliminated from the time line.

Curse of Darkness has shades of a good game because of the boss fights (despite being a little easy) and the innocent devil system was actually pretty interesting even if the devils weren't remotely balanced. Unfortunately the abysmal level design kills the game in a lot of ways.

Lament of Innocence is a piece of trash, but it's a better origin story than the one Gameboy game with Sonya Belmont.

Dracula's origin story now boils down to him being a God hating baby with a magic rock.

Phoenix Downs are dropped and found enough in the early parts of FF3 to get you by until you get Raise magic.

Resident Evil 4 is alright. It's certainly not the second best Nintendo game EVER as was decided by Nintendo Power, but it's alright.
