God yeah, the characters they picked for the sequel really were just to shit on fans of the actual series. "So should we stick in Guy or Cody? Nah man, that's gay! Put in Maki and Eagle, also that Todoh guy from Art of Fighting should work on the SNK end. Wait, who the fuck is Eagle?"

I've really only played RONDO OF BLOOD and Symphony of the Night extensively enough to memorize those subweapons.
