I think my favourite part was the stunned silence that fell over the audience when the credits started rolling and one guy muttered, "Man, that was fucking awesome." I also liked the skull motif.

The movie seems to inspire a feeling of disbelief when it ends, like you don't know what to do now that it's not playing anymore. I know I felt that way and I've read other people saying similar things.

Yeah, I was sort of in a haze and wasn't sure if I really liked the film, but almost immediately that faded and my love for it grows and grows.

I saw yesterday and was able to transcribe some of the other crazy shit people say. The BULLET FARMER also screams "I AM THE CONDUCTOR OF THE CHOIR OF DEATH!! SING, MY BROTHERS! SIIIIIIING!!"

A really tremendous amount of care was put into making everything as fucked up and ridiculous as possible. Like, did Immortan Joe really need to have a son who was a fat, bearded baby blob? No, but why WOULDN'T he?

Also, fucking pole boys.

I read an interview with the set designer where he talked about how George Miller is a crazy person and demanded that the guitar/speaker/flamethrower combination actually WORK, and not just be a prop. So, that actor is actually playing music on a guitar that is actually shooting flames.

So good.

They needed the baby blob son in there to underline the tragedy of Immortan Joe's unborn son being perfect in every way. That way we can truly empathize with Immortan Joe, the true hero of Mad Max: Fury Road. He was just trying to get his baby back, guys. ;_;

I guess I collect digital copies on a 3 TB hdd and watch them from PLEX, but not really. I only say collect because I haven't deleted anything yet even if I downloaded garbage.
