The 2004 video is not canon. It doesn't really look like Osama.

Also, it took him 3 years to take responsibility? If the guy was behind such a major successful terrorist act, you don't think he'd be proudly boasting about it day and night? He initially denied it, and then 3 years later, 4 days before Bush's re-election, he makes the "confession"?
