I don't care if other people desire to have children, but I want nothing to do with them. I don't experience any sort of longing to be a parent, or feel that there's a void (heheheh) in my life without them. The thought of having a child makes me physically ill. Aside from the complete lack of want, there's a laundry list of mental and physical health issues that I really have no business attempting to pass on.

My mother should never have had children, and in turn I am likewise not fit for motherhood. I can't even imagine myself getting married at this point, honestly. I'm already debating with myself whether I even want to continue the relationship I'm in after the lease is up in the summer. There's nothing wrong with the relationship, really; I just can't help but wonder if I'm not better off alone. Time has shown me that I'm really not in it for the long run with anyone.

The way you were going on about them, I wondered if you'd somehow managed to have some while I was gone.

I wasn't exaggerating at all when I said the thought of having one makes me ill. I consider it to be a catastrophic , disabling life event from which there is no hope of recovery.
