I think everyone is too much of a hotshot for saving stuff, but is the stuff all saved?

I was thinking of compiling everything ever written in a sort of neat pdf file, as some sort of e-book, and start reading it, since I've missed a lot, but if I am not mistaken, lots of stuff are forever lost.
