I don't know if I played 10 games this year. I had more listed but I googled them, found out I played them in 2010, and then deleted the reviews.

Bit.Trip Runner - I got this like a week ago, played it drunk for an hour, thought it was great.

Mass Effect 2 - Played this for the second time with my new computer. Made some fancy ice queen using mods and enjoyed the game much, much more than my first time around. Knocking guys through plate glass windows to their deaths, electrocuting people to death, and generally being an asshole was much better than my natural inclination to be a paragon virtue.

Portal 2 - Really good stuff!

Starcraft 2 - I don't think I won a single multiplayer game of this.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - I should really like these games in theory but they/re so incredibly mundane.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - I really enjoyed this game. I enjoyed it much more when I assumed the game would have much, much more side missions (maybe like a third of Fallout 3) but with the game's polish. It didn't, but it was still pretty great. Brutally murdering two drug dealers with the wrist blades for the first time was probably my favorite memory.

Minecraft - This is a game I really enjoy over and over for 5-6 hour periods until I die and lose everything and I don't play again for 3 months.

Team Fortress 2 - I played this game about 20 hours this year and technically played it for around 5000 hours.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - I played this for 2 months but I dominated so much using bullshit tactics I was too bored to continue past the 3rd Lord ranking.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition - I really enjoyed this game for a brief while because I played the most unbalanced, high tier character and dominated. I think for about a month when I had no furniture in my new apartment (which I later abandoned when I lost my job) I would sit on my floor drinking beer my friends left behind when they came up for WVU games as a steady stream of Natural Light sweat came from my balls and pits because I didn't have the money to pay for air conditioning to battle the hot, summer sun.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - Apparently everyone else continued to play the original and so for the first few weeks I had my shit pushed in thoroughly by an assortment of Filipino and nerdy black titans. Perhaps no game I have ever played in my life has infuriated me and filled me with so much despair as this one. If I had a loaded revolver placed on my coffee table while playing this game you wouldn't be reading this post.

Hopefully looking for me soon getting my ass whipped on a future episode of The Online Warrior.

Lost in Shadow - A really shitty Ico rip-off that isn't even difficult.

De Blob - A really interesting idea bogged down by shitty Wii Motion controls. Why do people think shaking a controller to jump is a good idea?

Trauma Team - Kick ass! Much easier than using the DS stylus.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 - Great!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - What the fuck? Why did this get so many good reviews? It literally copied 85% of the original's stages and bosses.

Sengoku Basara - Better combat than Dynasty Warriors, but still more repetitive since you have to beat it 80+ times to get everything. Fat chance!

Xenosaga Chronicles - Best rpg I've played in a long time. Great combat system, was actually challenging, and cuts out a lot of the bullshit that makes JRPGs unplayable.

Little Kings Story - SO GOOD. Set Pikmin in a retarded little world where people speak gibberish and battle to classical music.

Cursed Mountain - Not scary. Looks really shitty.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - Not scary. Looks and controls shitty.

Super Smash Bros. Melee - Melee Ganondorf is the best character in the history of fighting games. Also, this is still the best fighting game.

No, I haven't, but maybe now would be a good time to get into that genre since everything else is getting really stale.

Though one of my problems playing any Risk-like game is that I'm too nice and I end up just trying to maintain my Luxembourg utopia.

I'll see if my extremely shitty computer can handle it next week, since I can't download anything right now on hostel wifi.

Mass Effect 2: It could have used more customizing but stepping into Afterlife on Omega for the first time overshadows all negative complaints I have about the game.

Deus Ex (Game of the Year Edition): Why bother having a stealth build if it's completely useless?

Amnesia: Played with over Skype with a friend, best horror experience I've had in years.

Bayonetta: Dance number at the end makes the entire game worth it.

VVVVVV: One of the better platforming games I played last year.

Limbo: Fun puzzle game with a wtf ending I still don't get.

Magicka: Tries to hard to be funny and crashes constantly. Fun with friends when it works.

Bastion: So pretty....

Portal 2: Great game but definitely seemed too easy.

Machinarium: Robots and puzzles.

Dokopon Kingdom: combo of Mario Party and RPG games. Best played with friends. A game can last for months if played properly.

Actually, I need to stop wasting so much time playing games that don't have an end, and the only point of playing them is to increase your skill. From now on I should only play games that have an ending, so I can feel like I'm doing something useful, like reading a book.
