8 bit orgy There's no fucking way Obama will win FL and NV. There's like to democrats to speak of anywhere here. Even the younger adults are voting for McCain. Honestly, I never even met a democrat in Florida, period. Joined: 27 Apr 2007 Posts: 2888 (Mon Jun 20, 2011 7:08 am) Reply

OK, I've mentioned this book before in a random post, but I realize this has potential. This woman wrote a book about how area 51 was really just a nuclear test facility that also performed genetic experiments on children.
Right off the bat, this was clearly a misdirection campaign. This was apparent just from the interviews the author had with major networks.
The goal was to make us feel better about Area 51 because the gov't did just about every illegal thing a gov't could do completely under everyone's noses for the last 60 years. Everything but aliens, of course.
This HAS to be a new form of propaganda. NOTHING in this book makes any sense whatsoever. I think it's supposed to discourage conspiracy nuts from ever reading a book again.
Check out the reviews of this thing... or just read one page.

It really makes me wonder who wrote all these positive reviews. |

Or if you're too lazy, here are some reviews quotes:
"This may be the worst book published this year. The author is clearly ignorant of the simplest and most basic facts of aeronautics, science, history, and physics, and combines that ignorance with a total lack of scepticism to create a breathtakingly stupid book. If you believe her, this is what happened in the 1940s and 1950s:
The German military, while being bombed day and night, using slide rules and pencils, invented a type of winged non-helicopter aircraft that can hover in flight and fly from Russia to the United States on one tank of gas(?)
All countries since then have been unable to duplicate this German feat, after 65 years and the invention of supercomputers and modern aerospace technology....
...To make it extra-spooky, Stalin has an SS scientist (who was hiding in Austria at the time, by the way)"geneticaly alter" children to make them look like spooky aliens. (The discovery of the DNA helix was years in the future, but never mind about that. Never mind that the scary alien-children were supposed to be 13 years old, which means that the plan had to start in the 1930s, before the super-saucer was invented and before World War 2 or the Cold War began.) "
I don't understand why some people go so far to explain Roswell. Skeptics don't give a fuck and simply ignore the subject. There's no pressing public pressure to explain this for the 90th time. |

I read this thread, and found it far more interesting than anything said in the chat during the nine hours or so I had it open yesterday. |

John Buis is talking about eating his wife out in the car right now, in the chat, so you're probably right. |
