It's interesting what's happening right now, now that the bootleg has been released.

We're getting that SECOND WAVE phenomenon - where you have the first wave of people shitting all over the movie about how terrible it is, then the second wave going in with those lowered expectations set up by the first wave, and they end up like "WELL SHIT, IT WASN'T THAT BAD!" and liking it.

This always happens with hotly-anticipated things like this, when the movie is less than a masterpiece. First wave hates, second wave likes, general public gives it mediocre reception.

Yeah, its great how males under 18 are FUCK, THIS IS COOL. 6.4! And then everyone else thinks it sucks until men over 45, who are FUCK, THIS IS COOL. 6.3!

Also, guys under 18 gave it 6.4 while girls gave it 3.8, which more or less the same rating older guys gave. Which means, either girls have more mature tastes when they are young, or the more likely explanation, western modernity succeeds in constantly brainwashing guys until they grow up to me feminine and girly.

Somebody needs to come up with a less imposing term like "psychological manipulation" or something.

I definitely agree that Western culture encourages males to act like overly aggressive idiots who profess love for any movie involving a lot of punching and rapidly moving camera angles.
