I watched most of it, one thing I can't agree with him on is that Dragonball Z was ever a fast-paced action show.

WELL, I"M BACK.

I enjoyed this movie.

The badness of this movie has been grossly and unfairly overstated.

The main THOUGHT THEME THINGY going through my mind right now isn't so much that the badness is overstated, but how little people recognize the badness, or even worseness, of the shit that they think is good.

Fucking Dragon Ball itself, for example. Jesus Christ. So this movie has bad acting and writing? Fucking, how about watching a single episode of the dub? Imagine THAT shit playing in a movie theatre. Whatever badness goes on in this movie pales, absolutely fucking pales, in comparison to the shit that comes out of the mouths of the characters in the dub.

Yeah, Dragon Ball is a bad movie, you can only give it $5 million opening weekend, but I'm sure you'll all be flocking to see Night at the Museum 2 and propelling it to a $70 million opening won't you? HHUHUHUHUH, THE PART WHERE THE BOY STATUE IS ALL BEING SEXY FOR THE GIRL STATUE, HHUHUHU, SO FUNNY, HHUHUH.

I screamed and pointed at the screen when his name was scrolling by. I didn't really react to anything in the movie very strongly until then, but man, Joseph Alexander Pancake.

I felt that way about Texas Battle but figured people already knew about him. I thought the movie started out fairly strong but by the end it degenerated to Mortal Kombat 2 levels. Also, I did judge the movie solely on its own merits and not on how closely it stuck to the source material so I like to think I'm being unbiased when I say I think it was still pretty shitty.
