I haven't actually picked this up but there's an UPROAR at VIRTUAFIGHTER.COM about how weak the AI is. Which means for a normal fighting game, it's probably pretty challenging, but VF4: EVO's AI was fucking raping insane. There's a hard mode, apparently, so hopefully that can SATIATE ME.

VF5 is one of the first PS3 game commercials I've seen that shows actual gameplay. It looks like art in motion.

I've never really like Virtua Fighter games, but it was fun picking Jacky because he was the easiest character to use in the game. The old chink who ran a restaurant was pretty awesome too.

I don't think I ever want to play another VF game after 4. Spending 500 hours in Quest mode with Shun Di just doesn't sound as appealing this time.

anyways ive owned virtua fighter 4 but never a tekken they are fun but not as technical as DoA and not as many bouncing boobies. My favorite fighting games are probably

Guilty Gear
Street Fighter
Dead or Alive
Soul Caliber
Virtua Fighter

i might be forgeting some but Guilty Gear is the only important fact, no one should be reading beyond that

The really should bring Rumble Fish to the states. Its like Guilty Gear as far as how awesome the fighting mechanics go. And it has battle damage!

I like how Japanese arcades are set up. You and your opponent get seperate arcade machines and fight on opposite sides of each other. That way you can take all your aggression on the character, not the player. There were about 20 Street Fighter: Third Strike machines lined up.
