				| I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this, and I was not surprised. Ang Lee's Hulk movie wasn't the greatest thing ever to begin with (slow-paced, plodding story, weird and distracting on-screen comic-booky panels), but it did have a lot of good qualities to it. I liked all the actors and thought they did a good job, the special effects were good, and the action scenes (when they actually happened) were entertaining. But it was just mishandled and turned out to be kind of a turd.
The remake has a somewhat simpler, more direct storyline which helps the pacing (although the first half still felt excruciating slow in some parts and every scene between Bruce and Betty you just want to end immediately), but there's not much intelligence behind it, or any of the characters. I think every actor was a worse choice than in the original. I like Edward Norton as much as anyone, but his whole role and performance feels so by-the-numbers you really have no reason to care. You keep wanting the Hulk to show up, and when he does, you realize he's not very interesting, either. Eric Bana seemed a far better fit for the character.

Ditto for Tim Roth. He's cool and all, but he never really jumps out at you in this. And fucking Liv Tyler. Besides her physical radiance, she has absolutely no screen presence at all. Why is she even in movies? And when you replace Sam Elliot with anyone else you automatically fail.

I liked the visual appearance of the Hulk in the previous movie, too. In this one he seems grittier, meaner, uglier, and much more obviously CG. The Abomination was all right, though. The Leader, on the other hand, was not.

I did like the inclusion of the super soldier serum, although with most everything else it seems so rushed and uninspired that they probably shouldn't have bothered. Same thing with Robert Downey Jr.'s scene, I'm sorry to say. The prospect of an Avengers movie is cool, I just hope that not every Marvel movie between now and then ends with a cliffhanging setup to it. They're just digging a hole they'll have to climb out of down the line!

				| After such a long period of absence, Nickass shouldn't be so delicate and artsy-fartsy.
What I would have rather seen from him was a good back-to-basics title like "The Incredible Hunk" or "The Incredible {Gay} Hump".

Well, it's growing on me. I GUESS.

				| Yeah, that's pretty ambiguous!
This title might as well be about a woman swallowing semen.

				| They had to make it to tie more characters in for an avengers movie. I mean, no one would fucking settle for the hulk from the previous movie to do that, and they might as well throw David Banner in. | |

				| Chris is off his fucking rocker!
I almost went with "The Incredible Fuck," which is a better match visually, but "Gulp" retains the sound more.

And as we all know, {gay} sex has more to do with your mouth than your eyes!
