I have yet to play the DS version, but aside from Double Dash (which is still good, just not very good) I do believe every game is solid.

12-man races to lend themselves to a lot of POW blocks, blue shells and lightning bolts though. It's somewhat aggravating.

I prefer the Wiimote with nunchuck to GC controller since I find it easier to pull off tricks in the air. The wheel seems fun, but I'm gonna unlock a bunch of stuff before trying it again.

Everyone get with the program here! Why is it just me and Sir Roo?

I'd also rather play Brawl.

Double Dash is perfectly fine, it's just when you play the Double Dash courses in a game without the Double Dash mechanics you realize just how much better it could have been.

Double Dash reminds me how shitty Mario Kart got when it hit the 3rd dimension. The the Wii wheel revolutionized just how unpredictable controls in a racing game can be. Also, if you want to finish 2nd or 3rd place, just race in last place until you get the bullet power up.

Rubber-banding is awesome like that.

Though the internet implementation of Mario Kart Wii is flawless.

I was going to ask why you bought Mario Kart Wii if you suck at racing games but then I realized I don't have an answer as to why I bought Brawl.
