I read some cool stuff about particle accelerators, but you won't find it anywhere online because the blogosphere is too busy giving equal time to the theory that the LHC will destroy the Earth.

I don't see any good reason not to be afraid of that thing.

It's probably either going to cause some sort of disaster or not do anything that will be of any use to anyone except dick-jacking material for the nerds who built it and their nerd fans.
