It takes a while to get it back to XP functionality. Thankfully you turn off Aero and UAC so that it's basically the same thing.

That search indexing thing is fucking horrendous though and can't really be rectified. Like instead of me pressing F and going immediately to the file in my folder that starts with F, it searches for all files that have an f in them. How is this better? If I wanted to do a god damn search I would use the god damn search function!

Basically, they made XP too good and now they're trying to fuck it to hell.

I just brought up that one because it's the one thing that I can't disable. I can't think of another thing that I can't get rid of that I'd want to.

Clearly, UAC is the worst thing on the planet, but you can get rid of it.

I don't know why IE is so laggy and choppy. I have 2GB of memory.

It doesn't seem to be so bad. I like the side bar. News feeds turn me on (though I wish I knew how to change the feed source). The stock tool is awesome because I own stock (PRU).

Also, I wish I can make the window color black and my text white.
