Apparently when you're a 50 necromancer and you get resurrected via your classpower, you lose half of your base toughness which is a hidden stat. Thus you lose HP that you can't actually recover.

I accidentally died twice and now I can't cast wish!

It's not the toughness that shows, MADali. It's base toughness, which is a hidden stat.

I can't edit things when I have no idea what their values are.

I hate all the stats that are controlled by several variables and are therefore uneditable. Max HP, Max PP, Speed, Hunger. What I would give to be able to directly edit Speed!

I just wish for the quickling bard and then kill all of the quickling lords that appear. I virtually always get at least one corpse, and usually two.

Go directly to the cheats tab. Right Click -> Create.

I thought King Homo would die in the Infinite Dungeon, but some blessed potions of youth have him back in the flower of his, er, youth! I wish it were possible to go under your starting age so you could play as an incredibly powerful baby.

This game begs to be cheated at. It's not like we all don't already know the events of the game, it's not like the "story" is fantastically compelling, and it's not like playing through honestly introduces any interesting new elements that wouldn't be there if you cheated. At the very least, beating the game dishonestly won't deprive you of any satisfaction when you beat it without cheats.
