Yeah, Halo 3 is actually pretty damn awesome. I've probably played it eight hours today.

And even saying that I can't recommend it to anyone at Fagtown. I'm not even sure why I like it so much.

Bungie is American.

It's much better than the last two games. The marines still like to drive off cliffs or roll their tanks over, but at least each part of the game feels unique, and the Flood are pretty scary.

I like the ability to record and share stuff, because the game has so many crazy insane moments.

My school bought four 360 consoles, 16 controllers, and 4 copies of halo 3.
They placed them all in the student den along with a Wii. There's my incentive to call in sick (skills).

It's so weird because the Wii is more popular and less expensive than the XBox 360. And much better for multiplayer, too, which is what I expect you'd want in that setting.

Theldorrin, you can't play halo 3 on the wii. Though I just found out that halo 3 doesn't naturally run in 720p like it was promised so it probably could!

I think that the Wii remote is basically the ideal controller for FPS games.

I thought the same too, until I actually played an FPS on the wii. Without lock on Metriod Prime would be almost unplayable.

It works pretty well for me on Resident Evil 4. Not quite an FPS, but the aiming is similar enough.

I should rent that game. My roommate bought Red Steel which is a FPS and its probably the worst game I've ever played on any of the current consoles.

A mouse is actually better than a real gun for a FPS, control-wise. The wrist has much finer motor control.
