For me it's not really 11:11 (though I have gotten a few of those).

In my case, I seem to be being bombarded with the number 5.

It's like that Star Trek episode.

First it was the waking up at 5:55. When I pull a random card out of my lucky deck, a 5 comes out inordinately. My order number at lunch today was 55, etc.

Here's an example of how that's NOT what's happening here.

On Friday night, within two hours of reading about the 11:11 phenomenon, I got hit by three instances of it.

One of these was a spam email from Domino's Pizza that came in at 11:11pm. Just for shits, I went through 600 emails in my trash folder (several weeks worth) to see if any had come in at 11:11 and I only found one other instance.

So, I mean, come on.

Screen images is a term not invented by looney ufoloists recently. It's a hypnosis technique used by hypnopsychologists for almost 100 years now. It's very easy to trick the brain into mixing up perception and thoughts. Go read "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat".

Think of it this way: How hard would it to hypnotize someone into snapping out of a hypnosis session when certain numbers are seen?
