I love how Roy's last one not only exceeds the regular scale, but the "compared to average" line breaks through the right-HAND edge of the div.

Mike is impressive though, usually no one can come close to touching my flame. I can't believe I had to bust out the Hurricane Technique to maintain a comfortable lead over him.

This might sound like I'm bullshitting to play along with the whole "imagine that we're manga characters" shtick, but I'm actually serious: The Hurricane Technique involves furiously typing while in a semi conscious state. I enter a sort of trance, where I'm only aware of the words, and during this time my WPM often exceeds 140, and I know without thinking that it's accurate too. Unfortunately, during this state I get flashes of thought, and it's severely disruptive. Like a sleeping person who realizes that he's dreaming and wakes up, my perfect rhythm falls apart and I make a bunch of errors, and my WPM slows too (sometimes I'll notice a mistake and I'll scramble to backspace and fix it), until I can get on another roll.

If only I could find a way to maintain the trance the entire way through, I'd unlock the ultimate typing technique that is both lightning fast and deadly accurate.

I got a 90 with no errors on Instructions.

I only type using three fingers though, so I guess that should be taken into consideration!

Typing fast isn't particularly useful unless you're getting hacked. And in that case it's easier to just call a buddy over so that you can do two-person typing.

Typing fast is very useful (in fact, it's kind of critical) for transcription/dictation.
