I actually thought there was a 70/30 chance that your "I think you're a good poster, Rick Cristo" post was sarcasm.

I was talking more about Hangly Man's post, and I linked to yours mostly for context (and just in case it WASN'T sarcasm).

Sarcastic praise of someone isn't really your style (because then that opens up the chance that they might take it literally, which would be a horrific calamity), but I was still leaning towards "sarcasm" because I can't possibly fathom how you, of all people, could actually like Rick Cristo, given the types of posters who you tend to dislike, he being pretty much in your bullseye area of hatred.

Although I have to say, it's hard for me to think of an example of a poster who you DO like, or even not-hate, so I guess it's even more bizarre.

But apparently you do like him - it's Rick Cristo, he's the good one - which is literally insane, given how you would react to a post such as "it's either a bastardization of power, or a buddhist practice of soul transfer at time of death to ascertain immortality, ie something akin to the 7 ballz wishezz" if it had my name next to it, which would include working it into your psychological profile of me, remembering every character of it for decades, and carving it with a mixture of your and ALDPs blood into the 20-foot Chris Psaros effigy that the two of you built together in the desert and will set ablaze the day that I die, leaping into hand-in-hand with delirious laughter.

The problem is if you like a couple of metal bands there usually is no reason to go out and find more. I used to have a bunch of random hardcore bands on my computer but I finally went through and deleted all the lesser ones as they were just screaming into a mic.

I'll admit that's true for a lot of bands sound similar, especially with the "djent" wave, but there's enough deviation to keep me interested. Melodeath such as Amon Amarth, 3 Inches of Blood, Skeletonwitch, etc is pretty much what you hear when you expect "metal," but the formula for their songs has pretty much been the same for years. There are a bunch of genreless heavier bands out there, you should keep looking.

That is neither kvlt, trve, nor metal. It's still a decent song, but I would definitely classify it as more punk than metal. It sounds kind of like Refused.
