Mike, you make a good point about how most games have equally stupid "you lost your powers!" excuses but the problem here is that there was no reason for this guy to lose his powers. This isn't Assassin's Creed 2. They could have made a much, much better game by having us play as Altair from the beginning of his ASSASSIN CAREER instead of developing this boring story that I know won't be worth it.
