Fuck man, tell me about it!

My natural rhythm is a 1-3 AM bedtime and 10:30-12 get up time.

But good luck finding a job that doesn't start at gay fuck o'clock, even though there's NO REASON why that should still be the standard now that we have electric fucking light.

And I don't like people judging me about my preferred get-up time, which I always feel them doing, especially older people.

Especially since smart people go to bed later and get up later than the people who they are smarter than. Which just goes to show who's in charge of this fucking idiot, early getting-up world.

I go to bed around 10am and wake up at 5am. I prefer getting home early and not having to deal with traffic both ways.

The man who wants to be prime minister says we're in dire straits if we start messing around with iconic pop songs.

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff told a media scrum covering the Winnipeg stop on his national tour that he doesn't like the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council's censorship of Dire Straits' Grammy Award-winning song, Money for Nothing.

"I thought it was a great song when I first heard it and I still think it's a great song. Though you've got to look back at those lyrics again, they were written for a particular time. But I don't like censorship," he said.

The CBSC ruled the song unfit for radio earlier this week because of the use of the word "faggot" in the lyrics.

Even Dire Straits keyboardist Guy Fletcher weighed in on his personal website, responding to fans' questions by calling the decision "unbelievable" and referencing a conversation with the song's writer, Mark Knopfler.

"Mark tells me that due to the ban, he has now substituted the word faggot for 'fudger'.... for Canada," Fletcher wrote. "I reckon Canada could ban about 75 per cent of all records ever made."

Right, exactly. That's the whole thing that bothers me so much.

Almost fucking nobody (who I know anyway) actually LIKES to get up between 6 and 8 am, or ever willingly does so if something isn't compelling them to.

Can't we all just agree as a society to push the get-up time forward a couple of hours, since it's what MOST PEOPLE WANT anyway?

I mean, if you have to get up at 6 and want 9 hours of sleep, you'd have to go to bed at fucking 9 PM! During the summer months it isn't even dark yet at 9 PM! Who under the age of 60 goes to bed at 9, or before 11 for that matter?

Our society is sleep-deprived because we make everyone get up early. The standard bedtime for the MODERN ADULT (my evidence, admittedly, being standard nighttime talk show time slots) appears to be somewhere between 11 and 1.

Late night talk shows are garbage that people only watch because there's nothing on time.

Of course with DVRs, there's no real point to them anymore.
