I say "I am" exactly the same way as I would say the "iam" part of "iambic."
Maybe this is just a basic-difference-in-speech thing between you and me.
All I know is, it's impossible for me to say "Castle Vania" and "Castlevania" in two separate distinct-sounding ways.
I just sat here and tried. It only works when I go OUT OF MY WAY to awkwardly insert a pause. |

Chris when you say it in two seperate ways it's not so much going out of your way to add a pause it's placing emphasis on different parts of the word. I suppose that doesn't really make sense, but
