Happy Gilmore, most of the Marx Brothers movies, A Mighty Wind, Naked Gun, As Good As It Gets, The Life Aquatic. The last two are more comedy/drama but I've seen them about a million times.

I still like Monty Python movies and Anchorman even though they've been quoted some ridiculous number of times.

Does Kung Pow count?

I don't think TV comedy shows are very funny in general.

Futurama is OK, but I wouldn't consider it funnier than the West Wing, for example.

And Star Trek: TNG is definitely funnier than any sitcom that has been made.

'Zany' funny or slapstick is a cheap laugh. Drama doesn't really go that route, so it has a big advantage.

Chris Farley's sketches on SNL might have just been a fat guy looking disgusting and screaming 99% of the time, but the sketch where he nervously interviews Paul McCartney is among his best material, and has been ripped off countless times. Between Two Ferns is just a constant rehash of that one sketch.

I haven't seen most of these movies you're all mentioning. Office Space I have seen. I wasn't overly impressed, but I saw it a long time ago, before I started working in an office myself. I should watch it again to see if it's more relevant now. I have it, because it's my brother's favourite movie of all time, second only to TRANSFORMERS1111 of course.

Lexy always says, about every shitty ass movie, "as bad as that was, for somebody, somehwere, that's their favorite movie," and I'm always SKEPTICAL of that idea.

But then you just said what you did about your brother and Transformers, and it makes me wonder.
