The scariest part of the movie is how realistic it seems. They even had a plot for carrying around the camera which at times seemed very ridiculous.

Katie was super cute with great tits. If I could do one sex act with her it would be to fuck either her mouth or her vagina while the demon took the hole I didn't and we high-fived each other periodically while Micah lay dead in the corner. Let me take this opportunity to say that at least half of all women would have Katie's build given a normal diet and exercise regime, so enjoy being evidence of a diseased misanthropic culture everybody who thinks she's overweight.

This movie was basically retarded but not in a way that really bothered me or would make me recommend against seeing it. Micah's character was so aggressively stupid that I think it got implausible eventually, but his stupidity was also the driving force of the plot so... whattayagonnado? I only wish they had, I dunno, written the movie around his stupidity a little more subtly. As it stands, the whole thing is just *SPOILERS*

Micah: Heh, what, you think there's a ghost or something??
Katie: Come on, don't joke around!
*both receive incontrovertible evidence that a ghost or demon is present*
Micah: I'm gonna take care of this. *does something to antagonize the demon*
Demon: *escalates mischief*
Katie: I'm really scared!!
Micah: I've been doing some research. Don't worry, I'm going to take care of this. *basically goes through checklist of things he was explicitly warned on-camera will make the demon angry and does all of the things, with no indication whatsoever of why he thinks these things will help*

The biggest LOL of the movie for me was how Micah responded to every thump with WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!? even after he had accepted that a demon was haunting his girlfriend. I was like "Uh, probably that demon."

I guess I get it that Micah was trying to get good DEMON FOOTAGE, in line with him constantly asking if there was something they could do to provoke the demon. Still I think even that is stretched kind of too far, like the part with her standing up and staring at the bed for like an hour before walking downstairs might be worth taking seriously when she says she's never sleepwalked and you already believe there is a ghost/demon doing stuff.

And him going WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT was definitely funny no matter what.

Any scenes where the characters are surprised by something implies that they were just filming themselves eating cereal, to name one actual scene that happens in this movie.
