I bought the level 2 suit which looks neat and the flamethrower which runs out of ammo too quickly. The zero gravity rooms are awesome! And I like how they handle sound when you're walking in breached areas.

The Flamethrower doesn't do enough damage for how quickly it runs out of ammo, and you can't use it in areas without O2. The Ripper was great though.

The game was a little easy though, and next time I play through it I'll have to do it on hard.

I died on one or two puzzles, and there's an enemy that can one shot kill you later in the game if you get too close to it, and I attempted to kill it with the flamethrower which was just silly.

Yeah, in general that was the only time I used the flamethrower was against the shitty little facegrabber enemies. However, the ripper is just as effective against the same enemies and can be used in the environments with no O2 as well.

So is this game scary or what? I'm thinking of getting this or the new Silent Hill:Homecoming game since I'm a fan of that series, but I'm more in the mood for an action game.

It fills me with sorrow to see the new SH game hasn't been getting stellar reviews. I'll no doubt pick it up anyway when the price drops a bit.

The magazine I had reviews read the sounds were constant so instead of being scary they just got annoying after a while and it was a very very dark game as in actually just hard to see dark.

Anyways I am trying to conserve my ammo it is also almost easy with the face grabbers just to mash X when they jump on you. I am playing the game on easy first and this game is very easy on this setting but still freaky. The first bull guy I game across rammed me once then I just used the ripper and took out both his legs then I got his arms for fun.
