I really don't understand how the cleavage/butt thing has anything to do with evolution. It sounds like Peter is just personally stating that he enjoys looking at cleavage because it reminds him of a butt. Sex starting out as doggy stile is pretty obvious. I mean, looking at the person in the eyes is really uncomfortable. People must have had to train themselves to be able to do that. I don't really know if the cleavage thing holds water. I couldn't tell you personally. Seeing a girl's cleavage doesn't really excite me all that much anymore, except for the fact that if a girl is exposing cleavage, she's probably trying to get laid.

Also, the cuteness of babies/small animals has a lot to do with their nonthreatening nature. A baby ALMOST-ANYTHING can't kill you, so it's evolutionarily logical for you to be endeared to their appearance. Or at the very least, not frightened or repulsed by it. And, really, isn't that what cute really is? An absense of FRIGHTENING AND REPULSIVE? Of course, there are exceptions because nothing is cut and dry, and some animals look like horrible, disgusting mutants when they're born.

Human babies aren't as cute as animals because they hit so close to home. Birth is a disgusting fucking process that inolves mucus and blood pouring out of a vagina. We can accept this in LOWER life forms, but when we see it in ourselves, it becomes very difficult to deal with. If you are repulsed by a three-month-old baby (and it's not eating or crying or making spit bubbles or something like that), then you are trying too hard to be an asshole.
