Counting 1980 is bullshit, because its a rare example of a new style starting with the new decade.

in 1980 you had 3 great movies instantly (Star Trek 2, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Arc), and their style is much more 80s than 70s, perhaps because they defined it in the first place
