Sylvester Stallone is in talks to direct and star in MGM's remake of the 1974 Charles Bronson movie Death Wish.
Stallone will play an ordinary man who goes vigilante after his wife and daughter are attacked. Set to write the script are Michael Ferris and John Brancato, whose credits include Terminator 3: Rise of the Machiens and Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.MGM will try to start production before March.

Yeah, it's true. Sylvester Stallone went to AIN'T IT COOL NEWS about a year ago asking fans if they wanted to see him remake Death Wish. However, he first suggested that PAUL KERSEY be an ex-cop and thankfully everyone there just shit on him so I think he's keeping him an AVERAGE MAN PUSHED OVER THE EDGE.
