So this guy just walked into the bathroom at the coffee shop I'm at, and he emitted this fucking EXPLOSIVE fart that literally made the door and walls rumble, and I had to be very careful NOT TO LAUGH so as not to appear classless. It was hard!

I held my breath, put my mind on other things, and then after waiting 3 minutes I thought about the fart again, and then I started laughing fairly outwardly and openly.

Nobody knew what I was laughing about though! They probably thought, "oh, he's probably laughing at something he's reading." They'd never think that I was laughing at a fart that had happened several minutes ago. But no. It WAS the fart. I saved my laughter.

And then I realized, "you know, that's kind of exactly what THAT guy was doing... he had to fart, but it wasn't socially right wherever he had just been, so he held it in, and let it out at the right time... just like my laughter at his fart."

We aren't that different after all, him and I.
