After playing Carver AND the black guy in Starship Troopers, that guy can pretty much call it a career.
Marlo doesn't have a lot of quotes because he doesn't really speak, or even change his facial expression at any point in time including when he's having sex and/or murdering people. I basically spent the entirety of season 3 terrified that he would kill Avon and become the main antagonist since he was so uncharismatic. Then he did become the main guy and the show actually got better! I did miss Avon's comedic stylings, though. "Nigga, why do you need a badminton set!? We don't even have a yard!"
Omar is obviously the king of quotations, though.
"I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase...it's all in the game though, right?" |

He also had a good run on Oz, but I could be talking about a third of the cast when I say that or a different third if I said The Sopranos. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

"Nigga, is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy?" is definitely one of the best lines in the series. |

8 bit orgy There's no fucking way Obama will win FL and NV. There's like to democrats to speak of anywhere here. Even the younger adults are voting for McCain. Honestly, I never even met a democrat in Florida, period. Joined: 27 Apr 2007 Posts: 2888 (Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:48 am) Reply

I'm still trying to get through all the Oz episodes. Also, should I delete Gintama from my hard drive? |

Part of the reason I don't post more is that I see a response from ALDP like "'Nigga, is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy?' is definitely one of the best lines in the series." and I spend the entire day wondering whether he's being sarcastic or not. I mean, it's a funny line, but maybe not as funny as I think it is!
I probably shouldn't take this so seriously. |

You should enjoy things subjectively and not enjoy things based on how they are perceived at FTU. |

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. I really enjoy it when the New Day Co-op tries to use Robert's Rules. |

The Wire isn't about the struggle of blacks to play video games and watch anime, so I agree with you, Hanma Yuujiro. |

Every time I read a Bladtman post the Black Dynamite theme song plays in my head. |

The Wire definitely increased my awareness of the black struggle. I used to think selling drugs was easy! |

I wish FTU had its own sketch comedy show where we could do a series of vignettes about Zero being inserted into memorable Wire scenes. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |

I am not creative enough to come up with a sample quote here which would exemplify the comedic potential of this concept. _________________ Last edited by God on Fri Apr 05, 33 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total |
