It's been a pretty long while since I've updated my journal. if you're new to it or just browsing, I usually just discuss anime in here.

So, there's a few new things that I wanna discuss; I'm using a new torrent client. Utorrent has performed wonderfully, but it's becoming bloated spyware, so I'm dropping it. It doesn't mean you have to, but I'm going indie and picking up qbtorrent instead

I'm using two different anime sites to grab my shows from Nyaa & Tokyo Tosho. Nyaa usually has the hit shows and it's pretty reliable for them. Tosho has some underground shows on occasion if you're into that.

This show is pretty neat. I'm usually not fond of space mecha or mecha shows, but the story is working out really well, and the animation is nice as well. It's a space show, and humanity has basically been reduced to a small population riding an asteroid base by some kind of biological menace.

I don't know if anyone's keeping tabs on Knights of Sidonia, but Toha Heavy Industries is also featured in Blame! and Biomega. I thought that was kind of a cute throw in.
