Why is this chapter taking so long to translate (according to the site)? There were probably ten lines of dialogue in the entire AWESOME chapter.

I just dont remember when it stopped being a massive ball of goo and started being a child. It was helping Guts but I did not know the child was his. I guess that makes sense now. These issues are too spread apart.

My dad came over one time, because I was helping him find books for his e-reader. He saw my collection of Berserk in the book case, picked one up and said, "What is this, comic books? Is this Japanese?" I said, "Yeah, they're graphic novels. Do ... do you want to borrow it sometime? It's actually really damn good. Almost Shakespearean-like drama." He said, "Really? Hmm, maybe later." I haven't asked him about it since. I actually don't know if he'd like it or be horrified. I mean, when he picked up a volume and started flipping through it, I just prayed that he wouldn't happen upon a page where some girl gets raped by a monster. Yet, I gave him an invitation to see ALL incidents of girls getting raped by monsters, what the fuck? Maybe because it's not so bad in context?

Man, Parents Just Don't Understand. Though it can definitely be worse. Mine think I'm either...

A) Gay. (Because I have so many "DOLLS" on display. Also, they're indecent and vulgar. Plus when I was 14 I had to explain the plot of Ranma 1/2 and they just looked at each other sullenly for a straight minute. It was a good show/manga!)

B) A raving psychopath. (The majority of those "DOLLS" and most of the pictures hung on the wall are demonic in tone. My house is like my banners. Creepy, adorable and all together unnerving.)

C) Forever mired in a state of arrested development. Well, OK, you win that one.

I basically did the same thing with my Dad as I did Roy but he constantly reads hard Sci-Fi and fantasy novels so I don't think Guts banging a chick that turned into a demon that he murders really surprised him. He introduced me to anime when I was like 10 with Akira and M.D. GEIST.
