My favorite type of food is stews with rice. Iranian stews, Indian stews, arabic stews, whatever, as long as its meat or chicken with some liquid shit, its awesome.

The best thing I have ever eaten is a noodle dish that comes from the Xingjiang (the far western Turkish Islamic region of China). It was savory and awesome with garlic and onions, tomatoes, peppers, and lamb.

I can't find it anywhere in the US.

Middle Eastern food is vastly better than European food. Actually Asian food is better than west as a whole. Iranian, Indian, Chinese, all powerhouses.

It's hard for me to compare since I feel like Western cooking is great because it doesn't put a ton of spices/sauces on everything.

I like Korean food and spicy food in general, but over these past two years I have definitely missed being able to have something simple such as mashed potatoes instead of potatoes/peppers/peas/cabbage/some sauce mixed together in a bowl. Sometimes things are really good just by themselves!

I like pretty much all regions of food (OBVIOUSLY LOL!!!!!!) but there's definitely a hierarchy.

Japanese food is probably at the bottom, for me. (GASP) I really tried to like it, especially during my fag days, but aside from exactly the things I like, it just doesn't have what it takes.

And a whole lot of it is actively disgusting (the sea monsters, natto, virtually any of their candy or snack foods).
